FAQs

Why work with Us?

We care, about you, your business, and your goals. Where do you want to be? Where do you want to go with your business? We truly care about what you want and how we can help you save money and achieve that with tax planning. We focus on providing creative solutions for you and your company and aim to educate so you know what to expect or ask as your company continues to grow.

What does tax planning do for me and my business?

Tax planning is an investment that generally will save you at least 10x what you pay for it. That means investing in tax planning can put more money back into your business that you can use to further your goals. We believe that businesses change the world by creating products and services to solve problems. The more we can help you to create products and services, the more we can help you unlock potential in your business and yourself.

How does working with you empower me and my business?

Running a business can be terrifying and it can be hard to find help you need, especially as a woman business owner. Having a professional to talk to and work with your team is so helpful and brings safety and empowerment. We believe that knowing what your options are, knowing how to plan for the future, and knowing how to protect yourself and understand what risks you face, empowers you to move forward in growing your company into a true business and make more time for yourself as an individual whether that’s spending time with family, traveling, or gardening.

What does working with you look like?

It can always be nerve wracking or strange to work with a new professional, especially if you’ve had a bad experience before.

Initial Consultation: We start by having an initial consultation to see what you need and what works best for you.

Engaged as Client: Once we have a subscription plan that works best for you and your business and steps moving forward, you’ll receive a packet where you can choose and look over what activities you can pick as well as a contract that lays out how we’ll work together and what will be covered.

Optimization Call: Once you are officially a client of Yefira Tax Law, you’ll have an initial optimization call with us to discuss how everything will work, what our meeting times and work process will look like for the subscription time frame.

Moving Forward: Because the subscriptions are meant to be tailored to your needs, the process after this will be tailored to what activities and subscriptions you pick. If you have more questions, feel free to set up an initial call with us.

When should I come talk to you?

Honestly, you can comes talk to us anytime. If you don’t understand how business taxes work or even what they are, we’re happy to help. If you are running your business but not paying yourself or not paying yourself a comparable salary to what someone else in your field is being paid, let’s talk. If you’ve promised an employee equity in the company but don’t know where to start, we’re here to walk you through the process and help set it up for you. If you’re taking on a new investor and need to know what that looks like and help setting it up, we’re here for you. If you’re selling your business or want to make sure you’re in the best place to sell, we do that too.

Whether you are in the beginning stages or later stages of a business, we’re here to help educate you, empower you, and set you up for success.

What if I don’t even know where to start or what questions to ask?

We get it. Lawyers especially can be condescending and mean. And running a business is like trying to wear 50 hats at once. If you’re not sure where to start or even what questions to ask (you don’t know what you don’t know), please set up a call with us. We love helping people and will be honest and upfront with information and where we may or may not be able to help.
